During today’s Nintendo Direct, Bill Trinen finally announced that Nintendo 64 and Nintendo DS games will be available on the Wii U eShop. You’ll use the GamePad in order to play DS titles and every single game that’s released will have customizable controls so you can configure the controls to be more like the original system.
N64 software starts at $9.99 to $11.99, while Nintendo DS titles will start at $6.99 to $9.99. The current two launch titles are Super Mario 64 and Yoshi’s Island DS, but more will be headed to the Wii U eShop in the coming weeks.
