In a rather stealthy announcement late last night, Nintendo took to social media to confirm that the NX will launch in March of 2017. Also, the next installment in The Legend of Zelda franchise has been delayed once again for a simultaneous release on both the NX and Wii U consoles in 2017 and that will be the focus of their E3 presence.

Rumors have been rampant over the last several months surrounding both the NX and The Legend of Zelda, so perhaps Nintendo has had enough and simply decided to put an end to the speculation. Hopefully, that will at least slow the rumor mill down a bit. Still, with these announcements will come different rumors and speculation. How will the Nintendo fan base react to the Zelda dual release? What does this mean for the Wii U? In the following video, I’ve detailed my thoughts and reactions to this late night news.
