Last week Nintendo announced New Super Luigi U, a standalone DLC for New Super Mario Bros U that features Luigi. In fact, Mario won’t be playable in the game at all. Luigi will be joined by Yellow Toad, Blue Toad, and Nabbit for multiplayer.
Now Nintendo has released the official New Super Luigi U box art, and some screenshots as well. The game looks very similar to New Super Mario Bros U, which isn’t a surprise.
New Super Luigi U will be released on the Wii U digitally on June 20th, while a boxed retail version will be available on August 25. If you want to download it as DLC, the price is $20, while the retail version will set you back $30.
Hopefully we’ll get more details and media of New Super Luigi U at E3 a few weeks from now.
