At the end of the last Nintendo Direct after Nintendo showcased Cloud as a new character joining Super Smash Bros., Bill Trinen said to expect a new Nintendo Direct dedicated to Super Smash Bros. before the end of the year. That Direct is now happening on December 15.
According to the press release, the event will be hosted by the game’s director, Masahiro Sakurai. Sakurai will share new information about Cloud joining the series, as well as some announcements that Nintendo hasn’t made yet. The press release also dubbed this as the final Nintendo Direct that will focus solely on Super Smash Bros.
The presentation starts at 5pm EST/2pm PST on December 15, so be ready.
