Sales tracker NPD has revealed just how popular the NES Classic Edition has been: Nintendo’s little console sold 196,000 units in North America in November, where it was sold out most of the month.

But it was even more popular in Japan. During the last week of November, the console, where it’s called the Classic Mini Famicom, sold over 260,000 units.

One thing is clear: sales would have been even greater if Nintendo had enough units. The console is sold out all over the world, and Nintendo recently acknowledged that they underestimated the demand for the little console.

NES Classic Edition, aka the NES Mini, is priced at $60 and includes 30 NES games.
