NCsoft CEO buys every employee a Switch and Zelda

NCsoft, the South Korean developer of popular MMOs such as Guild Wars and Aion, pulled a great “good guy” move on all of his employees by buying every one of them a Nintendo Switch and a copy of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Considering NCsoft has 3,100 employees, he spent over $1 million on getting everyone a Switch and a copy of the game. And he managed to find that many Switch units.

Why? He told South Korea gaming outfit Gamefocus that he loved Breath of the Wild and wanted his employees to experience it.

Hopefully now NCsoft can port one of their MMOs to the Switch.

While it’s a great gesture from the CEO, the employees will have to wait a while before getting their Switch: the console has yet to officially launch in South Korea.
