After much anticipation (and lots of waiting), NBA Playgrounds finally supports online play on the Nintendo Switch. It was made possible after the latest patch of the game added online multiplayer to the arcade basketball game.
In addition to online multiplayer, the NBA Playgrounds update added 15 new players to the game (such as Dennis Rodman), and tweaked the shooting system based on player input.
The patch, version 1.1.3 is available for download now to all NBA Playgrounds owners on the Switch.
