We’ve seen slight hints that the Mario Kart 8 Mercedes-Benz DLC would be available in the Nintendo Switch version of the game, but it wasn’t until now that we’ve received confirmation and footage of the DLC in action.
In the video above, you’ll see footage of the Mercedes-Benz DLC, which includes the 300 SL Roadster and GLA Tire Set. For those of you who want to unlock both the car and tires, you’ll have to do a little bit of leg work. According to the video, the car requires 750 coins, while the tires require 60.
Collecting coins itself could take you awhile as they’re only obtainable during races. To maximize your efforts, we suggest hosting a few four-player, local-multiplayer matches. Because each players coin count is added to the total, this ensures you’ll earn coins much faster.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe launches on April 28th at retailers and on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
