Minecraft: Wii U Edition getting Super Mario pack

Minecraft: Wii U Edition will receive a free Super Mario-themed update starting this month. Nintendo and Mojang have partnered to introduce a Super Mario Mash-Up pack on May 17. The pack will include several new Nintendo-themed skins, including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowser, and Wario.

Also included alongside the new skins will be several Super Mario-inspired music tracks and item textures to be used in the game. The total count of new content added in this pack is 40 skins and 15 new pieces of music, along with several new enemies including Hammer Bros. and Dry Bones that may attack players at night.

The retail version of Minecraft: Wii U Edition will release on June 17 and the Super Mario Mash-Up pack will be included.
