Last week shortly before the Nintendo Direct, a rating on PEGI’s website revealed that Minecraft: Wii U Edition is a thing that’s happening. Or so we thought. The rating came with a release date of November 12, which prompted many to speculate the game would be revealed during Nintendo’s presentation later that day. When nothing came about, we started to scratch our heads a bit.
Now, reddit has discovered the original listing that showed up on PEGI’s website has been removed. There’s no information about why the listing has been removed, so we don’t know if it was a mistake on their part reporting the platform, or if they released information before they were supposed to do so. Either way, looks like a Wii U version of Minecraft is still just a rumor for now.
