There are lots of rumors about the Nintendo NX console, and Nintendo’s competitors are also paying attention to those rumors.
Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg, who heads the marketing arm of Xbox, said that Nintendo has “always been innovative” and that he wouldn’t be surprised if the company “do their own thing” in regards to their upcoming console.
“Nintendo’s always been innovative. They’ve always differentiated in their own way. They’ve always danced to their own tune, if you will. It wouldn’t surprise me if they do their own thing when the time is right.” Greenberg told GamesBeat, adding “What they’ve done is unique and different. How they’ll compete with us remains to be seen.”
The Nintendo NX has been rumored to be released next year, and we’ve heard reports that the NX is more powerful than the PS4 and Xbox One.
According to recent reports, Nintendo is very close to finishing the hardware design of the console, as they have started distributing dev kits to developers.
