Metro Last Light Wii U version delayed past Q1 2013

Metro Last Light Wii U
The Metro Last Light Wii U version has been delayed, publisher THQ confirmed recently. Metro Last Light is the sequel to Metro 2033, which was released on the PC and Xbox 360. The post-apocalyptic fist person shooter is scheduled for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the Wii U, however, THQ revealed that developer 4A Games will be focusing on the current gen consoles first. This means the Metro Last Light Wii U version will be delayed past the Q1 2013 release of the game. A THQ representative said, “Right now we’re focusing on existing platforms and PC, so it’s unlikely that the Wii U verson will come out at the same time as those formats”.

Metro Last Light is one of the few hardcore action titles that have been announced for the Wii U, sadly, it looks like Wii U owners will have to wait a a bit longer for a chance to play it. But FPS and action game fans shouldn’t be discouraged, the Wii U is getting plenty of such games this year, including Killer Freaks From Outer Space, Ghost Recon Online, Batman: Arkham City, Darksiders, 2, and Assassin’s Creed 3. All of those titles are expected to be ready during the console launch.
