According to MCV several large retailers in the UK have stated that they have faith in Nintendo but feel big actions should be taken in order to save the Wii U.

They also believed that a significant price cut making the console a sub-£200 machine and a new bundle pack with the upcoming Mario Kart 8 could help salvage the Wii U.

One retailer stated the following, which in turn shows that there is a demand to see Nintendo use its unique GamePad to really stand out from the crowd:

“We also need something revolutionary that makes use of the second screen and has mainstream appeal, which is easier said than done.”

Steve Thomas, the boss of Xbite Ltd. added;

“Nintendo will have something up its sleeves that again will add a new dimension to gaming.”
