Today’s Nintendo Direct about games coming this Spring wouldn’t be complete without some Mario Kart news. A fresh new look at Mario Kart 8 closed out the direct today. You can find the brand new trailer above.
The main thing shown off here is a lot of new courses and how dynamic some of them are. No new driving mechanics are shown since gliding, underwater driving, and hovercars have either already been announced or shown up in Mario Kart 7.
