With the upcoming Mario Kart 8 DLC that features Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach, we also got a look at the first of eight tracks that will be new in this DLC. Fans of previous Mario Kart installments will instantly recognize the track featured in yesterday’s DLC teaser trailer as Yoshi Circuit from Mario Kart: Double Dash! As done with the tracks featured before launch, here’s a comparison of the track featured in the original game, and then the track as we saw it in the DLC trailer.
It’s clear the team designing the tracks with the new anti-gravity features in mind paid careful attention to Yoshi Circuit to bring it into Mario Kart 8 without compromising the shape of the island, since that’s where the track gets its name. It looks stunning and now I can’t wait to see which other seven tracks from previous installments will be included in the new update. Does this influence your decision to buy the DLC?
