During the last Nintendo Direct, Nintendo dedicated significant time to showcasing what’s coming up in the latest DLC pack for Mario Kart 8, including giving us a preview of the brand new Animal Crossing inspired track that players will be able to experience on April 23. Despite all this, several details were left out, but we now know what the full package contains. Players will get 8 new courses, 3 new characters, and 4 new vehicles.
The DLC Pack 2 will be available for $8 from the Nintendo eShop, but if you still haven’t purchased DLC Pack 1 yet, you can get both of them for $12.00. Buying both of them at once nets you extra Yoshi skins as well.

Along with this DLC update, the base game will be receiving an update to make some features available to all players, regardless of whether or not they purchase the DLC packs that are available. 200cc mode will be added during this update, so you can race at an even faster speed to show off those skills.
