Awesome Games Done Quick is a yearly speed-running competition that selects several classic games for speedrunners to finish while streaming. The stream collects donations from its fans and at the end of the week, all the donations are tallied up. This year the speedrunners collected over $1.5 million dollars to donate to the Prevent Cancer Foundation. The event ended yesterday, but there have been some amazing speedruns worthy of attention.
Twitcher speedrunner Runnerguy2489 played Ocarina of Time at this year’s event, doing so blindfolded. He completely beats the first three dungeons of the game, showing just how familiar speedrunners have to be with the game.
