Pixel-featured-LARGE

Many of us still can’t justify paying $1,299 for the Chromebook Pixel, even if it does have one of the best displays in the market and a stunning design. It is just too much money for a limited web-based computer, but it represents the future of Chrome OS. These devices can be high-quality computers – the platform can move forward with powerful web apps. If you are betting on Google’s strategy, you might be thinking of getting that $1,449 LTE-enabled Chromebook Pixel. If so, we have great news for you!

The Chromebook Pixel’s Google Play Store site has just been updated with an exact shipping date. Google was giving us a 6-7 week waiting period when the Pixel was announced and released. This number has been changed to April 8th now, which means it is coming right on time.
