Purchasing a Chromebook can bring forth many benefits, but one of the best deals is being able to get 100 free GB of Google Drive storage for 2 years. The Lenovo X131e hadn’t been added to the list of devices compatible with this freebie until now.
Popular Chrome developer François Beaufort has found a bit of info on the matter. A Chromium code review site mentions the Stout (codename for the X131e) being removed from the list of devices not eligible for this offer.

This patch removes Stout from a list of devices not eligible for the extra Drive storage offer.
Now all X131e owners have to do is wait for the next Dev update, open the Files Apps and the promotion banner should pop up. Pretty neat, right?!
