LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham season pass skipping Wii U

Warner Bros. Interactive has been known to be iffy when it comes to supporting their games with DLC on the Wii U. Injustice famously didn’t see a season pass arrive for its DLC on the Wii U, but it did eventually get a few pieces of DLC (though not all of them).

It looks like Warner Bros. Interactive is doing the same with Wii U, as it has announced a season pass that contains six DLC packs for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. No mention of Wii U is made for any of this content, despite the game arriving on the system at the same time as the others. It’s unsure whether Warner Bros. Interactive will be offering these pieces individually to Wii U owners, but six pieces of DLC is a substantial amount of content to miss out on if not.

Here’s what’s being offered that we know is in the pack:

  • The Dark Knight Pack (available launch day)
  • Man of Steel Pack (available launch day
  • Batman 75th Pack (available launch day)
  • Access to Future DLC Content

We’ll keep our ear to the ground for more information on this, but it’s likely Warner Bros. Interactive feels that DLC doesn’t sell well enough on the Wii U to offer it to customers, despite the LEGO games traditionally doing very well on the platform.
