As we reported a few days ago, Japanese indie game Kamiko is set to debut in North America on April 27th. Today, the publisher Flyinghigh Works uploaded the first English language trailer for the game. The game will cost $4.99 and will be digital-only, with an interesting storyline.
Jessey has already streamed a bit of the Japanese version of the game, but for those who are unaware, players take control of a priestess called Kamiko who must battle against demons while solving puzzles to make your way through the various stages. It feels a lot like a 2D Zelda game from old, while having a world and lore that’s styled around Japanese Shinto beliefs.
It’s a relatively short game with only a few hours of gameplay, but for $5 bucks it’s worth experiencing. Will you be picking it up in a few days when it debuts?
