Before The Wonderful 101 launched in Japan just a few days ago, we told you that the region would only have 30,000 copies to sell. That sounds like a low number, but it seems like Nintendo was expecting as such, as sales reports from Japanese retailer Tsutaya show that The Wonderful 101 did not crack its top ten list during the first week.
Instead, it sits at the lowly number 16, just below Pikmin 3 and countless 3DS games, some of which have been available in the country for nearly a year. Hopefully we’ll see better numbers from the North American launch of the game.
