Japanese sales show huge drop in Wii U sales after holidays

This week’s Media Create numbers are in with the first look at a full week of sales in January. The Nintendo 3DS continues to perform very well, but the Wii U has dropped down from the 73k sales we saw last week down to just 14k this week. That’s a huge tumble and not something we want to see after the sustained high sales of December. Here’s a full look at the top ten software titles and hardware sales for the week.
