People can’t seem to get enough of side-scrolling indie games. Or maybe there are so many because they are relatively easy to develop. Either way, the Switch is getting yet another side-scrolling indie game, a shooter called Boiling Bolt.
Developed by Persistant Studios, Boiling Bolt is a 2D side scrolling shooter with 3D backgrounds, kind of like Rayman Legends. The game also supports co-op, where two players can play and complete the game together.
You can check out a gameplay trailer above. No release date was given for the Switch version, but the developer says they will showcase it during GamesCom, where hopefully we’ll get a firm release date.
