How to do a custom paint job with the Joy-Con controllers

Over the past few weeks since the Nintendo Switch released, we’ve seen a lot of custom paint jobs when it comes to the final product. We’ve highlighted a few of these community-made creations here on Nintendo Today, but this mod process for a Metallic Blue Joy-Con set is the most well-documented process we’ve seen.

In fact, there’s enough photos here that you could use the photo set as a guide to modding your own Joy-Con set, if you wanted to do so. Take a look at all these shots below, which I’ve decided not to include in a small gallery so you can scroll through them and see them in their full glory.

It looks like a pretty straight-forward process for anyone who wants a custom set of Joy-Cons. All credit for these images go to reddit user av3rn, who uploaded the pictures to Imgur to show off the custom job.
