Google and HBO must be ready to launch HBO Go Chromecast support! The popular app showed up as a supported Chromecast app in Google’s official site just a bit ago. Someone must have made a mistake because the HBO Go thumb has been taken out of the supported devices area. Don’t worry, though! I got you a screenshot.
This can only mean Google is making preparations for the HBO Go update to go live. We won’t make any promises, but I think HBO Go support should be coming sooner than later. After all, we have been expecting it for a while now.
I know I will be glad to have this app ready when “winter comes”. We really need to start getting more supported Chromecast apps!
