GameStop now accepting pre-orders for Super Mario amiibos

If you’re keen on getting the recently announced Super Mario collection of amiibos that are launching alongside Mario Party 10, you’ll be happy to know that GameStop is now accepting pre-orders for this series. The series is rumored to be more available than the Smash series of amiibos, as these will be considered the classic, go-to amiibos for popular Super Mario characters. In fact, a Nintendo representative mentioned that of the six amiibos in this set, only Toad could be considered rare.

That information seems to be true, as despite pre-orders for the set only being open for a few hours now on GameStop, the Toad amiibo is already sold out and not available. The other amiibos are still accepting pre-orders. We’ll keep an eye on Toad amiibo stock, but given how poorly Nintendo has calculated the demand for these figures and the current availability of popular characters, Toad could end up being more rare than Nintendo anticipated. We recommend pre-ordering any figure you want just in case.
