Weirdness: Play Game Boy Color games on your Android Wear watch

If you grew up in the 1990s like I did, that big massive brick of a Game Boy seemed like such old news when the newer, sleeker, and more colorful Game Boy Color came out. It featured more than monochrome colors! It was slimmer! Certainly a modern marvel if there ever was one. Well, fast forward to 2014 and you can play those same games on your wrist, thanks to Android Wear.

That might sound pretty uncomfortable given the platform nature of most Game Boy games, but in reality it seems to work just fine when paired with any Bluetooth controller that is compatible with Android, like the MOGA Pro controllers. The only important thing to take away from this seems to be that if you do want to experience Pokemon Silver and Gold on your wrist, you’ll need the compatible emulator for Android Wear which is linked on the video’s YouTube page.
