The team at Frozenbyte have been working to upgrade the original Trine, porting the game to the engine used in Trine 2. Trine 2 has been available on the Nintendo eShop for some time now, but according to a recent tweet by Frozenbyte, the game will soon be available on the Wii U eShop.
Trine Enchanted Edition is also coming to Mac and Linux in a short while, and later this year to Wii U and PS4 as well 🙂

The game has been beta tested on Steam for a while, which is why the tweet mentions that Mac and Linux version will be arriving soon. For those who enjoyed Trine 2, you’re in for more puzzling greatness and the first game is just as good as the second in terms of gameplay.
