Nintendo will be releasing a limited edition Monster Hunter XX Switch bundle in Japan, which will include a Switch console with Monster Hunter XX artwork — the first limited edition version of the console.
They’ve just released the official box art of the bundle, and a better look at the limited edition console. As we reported earlier this week, the game is also getting a limited edition version (and hopefully it will be released in the West as well).
The bundle will be released in August for about 40,000 Yen, or $360. And Nintendo could have charge a lot more, because within about an hour of pre-orders going up, it was sold out.
Maybe they can just sell the empty box like they do for Splatoon 2?
Monster Hunter XX has already been released on the 3DS, where it’s been a big success. The Switch bundle will be released in Japan on August 25.
