Yesterday Nintendo and Bethesda revealed some huge news: Doom and Wolfenstein 2 will be coming to the Switch.
The first of those two to be released, Doom, will include all of the released DLC, and it will also include the online multiplayer component of the game.
However, the multiplayer part will not be included on the cartridge, it will have to be downloaded as a free update due to storage constrains on the cartridge.
They didn’t reveal the file size for Doom, but if they have to leave content off of the cartridge, it’s safe to say it’s a pretty big game (it uses over 50 GB on PC/PS4/Xbox One).
Doom was originally released last year on other platforms and has been a huge success. It will be released on the Switch later this year.
