Data miners have been digging away at the last batch of Mario Kart 8 DLC to be released and they’ve turned up some interesting results. According to one post on NeoGAF, the last DLC pack released by Nintendo contained 13 entries, but only 8 made it into the official pack. Those eight entries are tracks that have already been made available through the game’s DLC. But the interesting part is the entries that weren’t made available. They are:
3DS_NEOBOWSERCITY = 3DS Neo Bowser City
GC_BABYPARK = GCN Baby Park
WU_ANIMAL = Animal Crossing
WU_METRO = ?
WU_WOODS = ?
DLC Pack 2 is scheduled for April 23 and we already know we’re getting the Animal Crossing track, as it was one of the highlights of the last Nintendo Direct. If everything in from this data mining venture does make it into the DLC pack, it looks like Neo Bowser City and Baby Park will be making returns to the series as well.
