The remastered version of Darksiders, officially called Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, will be released on November 22nd on the PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U. However, the Wii U version will only be released digitally, where as the other two versions will get a physical retail release as well.
No reason was given as to why the Wii U version will only be available digitally on the eShop on November 22nd, but publisher THQ Nordic has said that there will eventually be a physical Wii U release as well.
Darksiders was originally released back in 2010 and is considered somewhat of a cult hit with gamers. Its sequel, Darksiders 2, was released on the Wii U as one of the launch titles.
