Now that the Nintendo Switch is in the hands of more and more people, we’re starting to see some amazing custom Joy-Con jobs that people have been doing. Last week, we showed you a custom purple GameCube Joy-Con that was intended to resemble the original GameCube Controller. This week, someone has shown off their Famicom-themed Joy-Con set.
If you’re unfamiliar with those colors, they’re from the Japanese Famicom system, which is what the NES was called in its home territory. It came in that stunning gold and maroon color with two controllers attached on either side of the system.
We’d say this is a pretty stunning tribute, especially since the Nintendo Switch also comes with two controllers that you can use to play multiplayer games on the go. Nintendo has really come full circle with the Switch and we hope they’re jotting down ideas from fan creations and we see something official in the future.
What Joy-Con console tribute do you want to see most? Frankly, I’d love to see something that’s a tribute to the SNES.
