Developer 505 Games has announced that the upcoming Ashes Cricket 2013 will be coming to the Wii U, in addition to other platforms. The game will feature authentic teams competing in the Ashes cricket competition.
The game will be released on June 21. 505 Games also released the Wii U box art, which looks very… crickety.
Little is know about the game of cricket. It supposedly requires a bat and a wooden ball of some sort, and there are occasional tea breaks. According to rumors, this “cricket” sport has been played for over a century and is popular in exotic locations such as India and in the Australian outbacks.
