Yesterday Nintendo revealed that the first European Splatfest will be Mayo vs Ketchup, and now they’ve confirmed that this will be the theme for the US Splatfest as well.
The very first Splatoon 2 Splatfest will take place during the first weekend of August, where players will have to choose between Team Ketchup vs Team Mayo.
Splatfests are themed battles where players get to chose a side, and the winner usually gets a cool in-game item. Splatfests ran for over a year on the original Splatoon on the Wii U, and they should run for at least a year on the Switch.
