Chromebooks have become very successful and much of that is owed to their availability. Retailers have supported the platform and given it enough exposure, but it is never enough. Things are about to get even better as Chrome OS laptops stop making their way to two more of the largest retailers in the US.
Chromebooks will now be available from the popular stores Walmart and Staples. Starting today, Walmart will be offering the 16 GB SSD Acer C7 in 2,800 stores across the US. This is the most affordable Chromebook at $199.
Staples will begging offering Chromebooks this weekend, starting with a selection of Acer, HP and Samsung Chromebooks. You can also purchase them online at Staples’ website.
It is great to see Chromebooks growing in such a competitive market. Chromebooks are here to stay, and now you can go check them out at more stores! Surely, you have a Walmart around you. Go do your back-to-school shopping and enjoy your new Chromebooks!
