I’ve been getting really sick of going into Google Webmaster Tools, looking at the “Site Performance” metrics in the Labs section, and seeing Google suggestion you download a Firefox Extension for Page Speed. No Chrome Extension?
There wasn’t for awhile… but now there is and you can download it here. Be warned that you’ve got to switch up a setting inside Chrome to make it work:
Type in “about:flags” into your Omnibar and make sure “Experimental Extension APIs” are enabled. You’ll want to save your tabs before you close – unfortunately I lost all mine by accepting Chrome restart. But once you restart Chrome you’re good to go and can find Chrome Page Speed Extension in the tools section of the browser!
