Chrome Beta updated with new Android 4.4 KitKat features

The Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat were unleashed yesterday. We were all running around like wild turkeys trying to buy the device (or at least learn all about it). Those who bought it will be among the first to own a KitKat smartphone. There is a lot too look forward to, but now we have a little extra something for you.

Chrome Beta just received an update and it comes with some Android 4.4 features! The new Chrome Beta comes with two KitKat features: the ability to print from Chrome and a simpler tab switcher on low memory devices.

Not huge, but it’s nice to see the new Android version allowing for nice little features like these. After all, happiness is all in the details, right?

The update also comes with a plethora of performance improvements and bug fixes. Those can never be left out, right?!

If/when you get Android 4.4 KitKat, you can download the update straight from the Google Play Store. Remember Chrome Beta is not completely stable. It is for those who want to be the first to try new features, so be sure to keep that in mind.
