Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was one of the last Nintendo first party games released on the Wii U, and it was a great little platformer in its own right.
Now Captain Toad will be setting his sails for the Nintendo Switch and 3DS consoles. It will include new gameplay mechanics and some new Super Mario Odyssey-themed levels.
The Switch version also has two-player co-op, where a friend can grab the other Joy-Con and assist in defeating enemies.
Nintendo announced the news yesterday during the Nintendo Direct, which was of course overshadowed by much larger announcements, such as Super Smash Bros on Switch.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will be released on the Switch and 3DS on July 13th.
