Capcom has more Wii U games in the pipeline

Capcom is bringing Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate to the Wii U, but that’s not the only Wii U game they’re working on. Last month, a Capcom vice president confirmed on the official Capcom forums that they are working on a Wii U game. It turned out that he wasn’t messing around with gamers — a month later, Capcom revealed Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the Wii U.

Now that same VP, Christian Svensson, is giving us more good news. He once again dropped by the forums and confirmed to fans that the publisher has “other projects in the works” for the Wii U besides Monster Hunter 3.

Capcom’s highly anticipated Resident Evil 6 will be coming out early next month, and it’s one game that we would absolutely love to see on the Wii U in the future. The company is also working on a brand new sci-fi action IP called Remember Me, which was at one point considered for the Wii U. Hopefully we’ll see both titles on Nintendo’s new console.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is the only Capcom game that’s officially coming to the Wii U. It’s a remake of the original Wii game, and includes new content, improved graphics, and more. It will be released in early 2013.
