I’ve been having a great time trying to unlock new characters and challenges in The Binding of Isaac on Nintendo Switch, but one thing I have noticed are a few bugs while playing. Specifically, I’ve noticed that sometimes spiders will jump into the top left corner of the room, making them impossible to kill if rocks or another obstacle are in the way.
It seems as though one redditor is having an even worse issue, as illustrated in the video below.
The redditor who shared the video says this happens every time he loads the Daily Challenge for the first time. After dying, the game always crashes and throws up the software error message. He says he deleted the save data and reinserted the cartridge, re-downloaded the update and once again the same thing happens.
We’re not sure what’s going on here, but this seems like something that should be brought to Nicalis’ attention. I haven’t experienced this issue with my version of the game, but then again I got the digital version from the Nintendo eShop. If you have the physical version of BoI: Afterbirth+ on Switch, can you confirm that you’re able to access and play the Daily Challenges without this crashing issue?
