Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 were pretty well received despite the latter being a Wii U exclusive. Now it looks like Sega is going to be making a new announcement about the series in just a few days. A timer has appeared on Sega’s home page with the subheading “Coming Soon”. At the time of writing, there’s just over seven days left on the countdown calendar.
A few days ago as part of April Fool’s, Sega released an 8-bit version of Bayonetta that you see above on Steam. Could it be this countdown is announcing that Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 will be re-released, or perhaps Bayonetta 3 is being announced? We’ll have to wait seven days to find out, but I’m curious what your thoughts are about this announcement teaser.
