Bayonetta 2 and Wonderful 101 will stay Wii U exclusive

Bayonetta 2 Wii UWii U owners were disappointed a few days ago when Ubisoft revealed that not only was Rayman Legends delayed once again, this time for several months, but that the game will now also be released on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. The delay is due to Ubisoft wanting to release the game on other platforms, which means Wii U owners won’t be getting it early, either.

However, don’t expect other Wii U exclusives to trickle into other platforms. Developer Platinum Games has confirmed that Bayonetta 2 and Wonderful 101 will stay Wii U exclusives. Platinum Games’ Hideki Kamiya tweeted this to concerned fans:

“We’re a development company. Nintendo gives us money, we make Bayonetta 2 and W101, and they sell it. So if Nintendo says ‘We’re putting Bayonetta 2 on PS360′ it’ll come out on those platforms…So ask Nintendo about it.”

When Nintendo revealed last year that Bayonetta 2 would be a Wii U exclusive, gamers reacted in a similar fashion, taking to Twitter and social media to criticize Nintendo and the developers from making Bayonetta 2 a platform exclusive. Whenever there’s talk about exclusives, someone always ends up disappointed, apparently.
