Developer Virtuos, the guys who handle ports of big games like Batman and Assassin’s Creed, are apparently working on a AAA port for the Switch.
That’s according to a LinkedIn profile of one of the developers, who says that he’s “currently porting a AAA title to Nintendo Switch”.
Of course, there was no hint at what the possible AAA game is, but given the past track record of the studio, we’ll take their word for it when they say “AAA”.
That’s because they ported Batman, Assassin’s Creed, and Final Fantasy in the past. One of those games that Virtuos worked on was porting Batman Arkham City to the Wii U.
Another answer might be that it’s a game we already know: Virtuos has previously worked on porting NBA 2K games, and it might just be that 2K Sports has outsourced the port of the upcoming NBA 2K18 on the Switch to them.
We’ll have to wait and see.
