If you’re currently experiencing any bug that hinders gameplay in Batman: Arkham Origins, WB Games has said tough luck. The community manager for the game announced yesterday that the development team would not be creating any more patches to address some of the issues found in the game, as they are moving on to creating DLC content. Here’s the full post from the forums:
The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums.
If we do move forward with creating a new patch, it will try to address the progression blocking bugs for players, not the minor glitches that do not prevent one from continuing to play. The issues that are not progression blockers will unfortunately no longer be addressed.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused for some of you, and want to thank you for having been patient.
While the community manager does acknowledge that the team could create a patch, it’s explicitly stated that it would only address progression blocking bugs, of which there are many reports on the forums. It’s unlikely we’ll see a patch for the game any time in the near future, which is a bad move for consumer relations. Are you experiencing any problems with the game?
