Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate arrived in the North American eShop yesterday, but Europeans will have to wait a little bit longer. Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that the Wii U version of the game for Europe has been delayed. The PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are launching as planned, but the Wii U version will be delayed until later this month. No explanation was given for the delay.
Given Warner Bros. Interactive’s history with the region, it’s not too surprising to hear of the delay. Europe didn’t get Scribblenauts Unlimited until nearly a year after the original release here in North America, and they’ve yet to bring Scribblenauts Unmasked to the region. With this delay, this is just another set back European Wii U owners will have to deal with.
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate is available for $19.99 in North America.
