Armillo has been delayed until May

Armillo won’t be hitting the Wii U eShop until May 12th, says developer Fuzzy Wuzzy Games.

The 3D puzzle-platformer was initially scheduled to release on March 24th, but Fuzzy Wuzzy Games says that the game isn’t ready just yet.

Days before sending Armillo to Nintendo for publishing, they asked themselves whether the game was well and truly finished. Their answer: “Not quite.” Instead, they have asked for patience while they work to make Armillo the best game it can be over the next two months.

We’re just asking for a bit more time to work on Armillo … We want to redo some of our least received levels so that their quality is more consistent with the rest of the game. We’re going to continue polishing up the game including the audio and visuals, and fix up any remaining bugs/issues that come up. We’ve enlisted a good number of testers who will help ensure our game’s stability and also received some excellent feedback lately that we would like to put into action as well.

The developer apologised for the delay, but they’re hopeful that the polished, improved version of the game will be well worth the wait.

Armillo will feature Off-TV Play, optional tilt control, and pro-controller support.
