Apparently Bandai Namco Japan is the lead studio for Metroid Prime 4

Another day, another Metroid Prime 4 rumor. According to Eurogamer, Bandai Namco is indeed involved in the development of Metroid Prime 4. And now development appears to have moved away from their new Singapore studio.

Instead, Bandai Namco Japan, the much larger and more experienced studio, is now the lead developer on Metroid Prime 4.

Apparently the Singapore studio was working on the game and now the bigger studio in Japan has taken over responsibilities.

This is common for games early in development and shouldn’t suggest any development problems.

Nintendo hasn’t announced a release date for the game, and since it’s early in development, it’s unlikely that we’ll see it released this year.
