As retailers gear up to begin offering consumers the chance to purchase their Amiibo figures this holiday season, the promotional materials supplied by Nintendo may give us a hint at future figures. We’ve already seen series 2 of the figures announced, which includes Zelda, Diddy Kong, Luigi, Little Mac, Pit and Captain Falcon.
The above image surfaced on Twitter and if you look closely, you’ll notice figures for Bowser, Pikmin, and what appears to be Tom Nook. Perhaps Nintendo has plans to get the Amiibo figures working with Animal Crossing on Nintendo 3DS, or perhaps a new Animal Crossing in development for Wii U will feature the ability to use Amiibo figures in conjunction with it?
